True Christianity is Non-Denominational

Because…..

Jesus prayed that Christianity would be Non-Denominational

"My prayer is not for them [apostles] alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. Jn. 17:20-23 NIV

Before establishing His church, Jesus prayed that His followers to come would be ONE as He and the Father were one, "brought to complete unity." Protestant Denominationalism is the direct opposite of being ONE or being brought to complete unity. The reason that Jesus wanted us to be brought to complete unity was to show the world that Jesus was from God. In light of this, denominational missionary institutions do as much harm in proclaiming Jesus as the Christ from God than good because they show Jesus as being the author of a confused, divided, dysfunctional family.
